I had sort of written UConn off when they were 11 down, but they pulled it off, baybeee. Go Huskies!!! After all my teams were out of the tourney, they were the team I rooted for, because my cousin Amy went there.

I really liked the No. 2 seeds going into today's games, and at least one of them came through. Between GA Tech and UConn, though I might root for the Huskies, I'd probably give it to the Yellowjackets.

This has been the Week from Hell. I worked 12-14 hour days nearly every day. I am exhausted, and the idea of having to go back on Monday nearly breaks me. Last night when I got home at 9:30 I surrounded myself w/ comfort stuff. Take out from Chili's and an old UCLA vs. Arizona football game from a few years back. (Yes, I tape games and occasionally watch them again. I'm such a geek.)

I did, however, manage to accomplish something not work related today, which is that I did my taxes. Filed online for the first time, and there was some scrambling for paperwork, since I haven't been as neat w/ my paperwork as I have been in the past. This'll teach me.

My friend D.'s work has sent her to LONDON for six weeks. Damn, I wish my work would send me to London for six weeks. Instead of, you know, HELL.

Once Williams fouled out, UConn came one and pulled it out. My roommate was so happy that she accidentally banged her head on her loft jumping up and down :-) I've seen both of the teams play (UConn once (against us) and Ga. Tech twice (against us and Duke)), and I really think Georgia Tech will win it too. They are so strong defensively that I think they can hold them off.

I'm starting to get sad that basketball season is almost over. It's been really important to me this year . . .

Thanks, d00d. I think I'm finally up for the day now that it's past 8:30pm. I slept and slept and slept, except for talking to jadeokelani, and to coyoteliz, on the phone about not going to Liz's sister's art showing tonight. And not seeing drusillageek either. *SIGH.*

I'm glad your work week is over, even if it's only for a few paltry days...
