Draco: circumcised or uncircumcised? Why?

Sometimes it's fun to research for stories. <g>

(Sorry guys, I tried to make a poll but apparently you have to post the poll and the entry at the same time. SIGH. Next time I have a question about Draco's foreskin, I'll try and remember. Besides, a text box in a poll has a max of 255 characters; this seems like a topic in which a lot of explanation might be necessary. <g>)

I would say uncircumsised, and I'll tell you why:

....I can't actually believe there would be a spell for that, and I doubt they would do it the snip-snip Muggle way, given everything else they have spells for. But then, I've always looked at the true wizarding world as a more ye olde fashioned society, so that probably adds to my supposition.

However, practically speaking, circumsision was traditionally a Jewish practice that we of the western world adapted for health concerns; I doubt the wizarding world would have the same worries about disease, infection, etc.

So yes, I believe Draco and all the other Purebloods are as God made them. The muggle-borns, however, is anybody's guess.

Hrm....I think that in England it isn't nearly as popular a practice as here in the states, so I'd probably go with not.

I'd almost bet that RL Draco-Daddy is, as his family is "move-to-Israel"-level Jewish...so....if JI=Lucius, then Lucius=circumcised and I'd bet Draco would be whatever his daddy was. So, under that set of circumstances, he would be.

You need a poll. :P

-Kiri, who has thought WAY too long and hard about this.

Uncircumcised. It's not a common practice among Gentiles in England.

I think so, since its cleaner and he seems pretty big on staying clean.

Uncircumcised, as it is not common practice in Britain.

I didn't even know that circumcision was a popular thing in the states. Well, it isn't around here (Belgium) so I would say not.

Welcome to the bad place.

Circumcised. Why? Largely because many have argued at its relative obscurity and the reasons it wouldn't be a prominent practise in the wizarding world, and, thus, having Draco Jnr. cut would make "him" worthy of wonder and attention.

And for some reason, circumcised just seems to go with Draco and his immaculate appearance and upbringing. Don't ask me why. Really. I feel ebil enough considering this topic already :P
