Hahahaha, these were so the books we read in junior high that everyone devoured because they were so "taboo."

And don't get me wrong; I like Nickelback, and I definitely need my angst and my hard rock -- one of my favorite bands of all time is Linkin Park. But, imho, for this particular song, it just wasn't the right sound. I mean ... "Bouncin' round from cloud to cloud/Like walking 'round with little wings on my shoes" just does not call for dark and angsty to me. Fully my own opinion, of course. :D
