I have very little time to blab, and yet here I go.
Found the cutest D/G art, and got permission from the artist (Tinki-chan) to use it at Magical Mayhem and to make it into an avatar (yes, it's the one you see!). Had to play w/ the color levels to make it stand out more as a tiny icon. Could Draco be more annoyed about giving Ginny a flower? Hahahhahahaa.

leiliaxf, are we still on for sushi tomorrow? The fact that we're supposed to go just popped into my head, and if I nearly forgot, I'm guessing it might have happened to you, too. <g>
Did you know that there are DVD-R/RW drives and DVD+R/RW drives and they're not the same, so there's different media for the two??? I, of course, did not know this until I was trying to buy some blank DVD-Rs and had no clue what the drive I purchased was. *bangs head repeatedly against desk* Why can't there just be one??
Oh, and work? Yeah. Stressing me out. Have had to cancel trip to LA and Okt00berfest. Waaahhhh. There is a v. slim chance that I might be able to make it, but it's unlikely. If I don't go this time, I don't think I'll be able to take any vacation days before November. I have not taken any time off since my last ill-fated trip to LA in April (wherein Jade and I almost died, yes), and I have like 4 weeks of vacation stored up. I am so. burned. out. Some of you may know that I do not get along w/ my immediate manager. A couple of months ago, his manager, who I do get along with, told me that something was going to be done. Since it's been months, I figured that was all but forgotten. However, today I had the following conversation w/ my manager's manager:
MM: You don't know about this? Shit! How is that possible?!
Me: Uh ... this is the first I've heard of it.
MM: I can't believe he's not keeping you in the loop. This makes me want to fire him right now.
Me: ........
MM: I'm still trying to do something. I know we talked about it months ago, but these things take forfuckingever. Hang in there. I'm aware there's a problem, and it has to be fixed. Shit.
Me (internally): YAY!!!
I haven't been doing any writing. The last few days it's been a chore to even find time/desire to eat. Sometimes I'm able to sneak in reading a little fanfic, which is one of the very few bright spots in my day (oh, don't I sound like the epitome of sadnosity), and yesterday I was able to chat withmynuet and rainpuddle13, who are both lovely ladies. Although it's clear now that Pud had me (and everyone) completely fooled by her apparently sweet nature, which actually masks an evil so great that it manifests itself in fun, fluffy drabbles about Draco, Ginny, and their son Liam. But have we ever thought to ask how D&G&L got to be that happy little family? Well, it turns out (from a future chapter of TW that I was able to read today) that I must strip Pud of her "Most Militant D/G-er Ever" title and give it to sydney_lynne, because I am now completely traumatized and blubbering in the corner.
