Beauty boxes for February
I have a very long K-drama post I've been working on for ages, but I realized I'm totally behind on doing beauty box posts, so I'll do those first! It's super helpful to me to have these to refer back to, actually.
Birchbox
- Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré (24-Hour Miracle Cream): I would have been more excited about this one had I not just purchased the full-size version from Costco, lol. That said, it's pretty handy to have a travel-size version available, and I have been enjoying it so far. It's extremely light, yet moisturizing, so I really like using it in the mornings.
- Supergoop! Daily Correct CC Cream SPF 35+: I wish there were a way to tell them to stop sending me CC cream.

- LOC Vibrant Matte Lipstick
- Wilma Schumann Skincare Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads
Ipsy
- SOO AE Sheet Mask Duo - Purifying Black Charcoal Mask & Nature Green Tea Collagen Essence Mask
- NYX Professional Makeup Butter Lipstick in Ripe Berry: I like this more than I thought I would. Glides on nicely. The color is a little more purple/bolder than I usually prefer, but with a sheer gloss on top it looks nice.
- LAW Beauty Essentials Nail Polish in Peri or Whatever: Looks like a nice nail polish; I have short nails at the moment so haven't been able to give it a shot. I like the color I got, though I probably would have preferred the Smoking Mauve.
- IBY Beauty Highlighter in Bubbly: I don't know that I know how to use a highlighter, tbh.
- Lord & Berry LINE/SHADE Eye Pencil - #221 Black: Useful, but boring. Also, I don't use pencil liners anymore, so...
Sephora Play!
- NARS Velvet Lip Glide - I like their lip gloss, so I have high hopes for this!
- Marc Jacobs Fragrance Divine Decadence
- Clinique Pep-Start HydroBlur Moisturizer
- Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream
- Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy: Not a fan of lip plumpers. They make my lips feel funny without much effect.
- Sephora LashCraft Length & Volume Mascara: Sigh.
Winner for February: Ipsy, by a hair over Sephora! Ironically, it was the eye pencil that nudged it over. It's something that I'm not excited about, but will use, whereas I am unlikely to ever use the lip plumper or mascara.
