sarea | Comic Con!!!!

adelagia and I just got tickets to Comic Con this year!!!!!!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Last year we were the losers still in the waiting room when all the days were sold out, but this year she got in! (Not me, of course, because I have terrible luck. I waited around just for kicks, and never got in before they sold out. -.-)

We're going on Thu, Fri, and Sun, as Preview Night and Sat night were sold out before she got in. It's weird because apparently they're not going to release the schedule until 2 weeks before the event actually starts, so why was Preview Night so popular this year? Last year it was one of the last days to go. Sat night, I can understand better, because it's probably been one of the best nights in the past, it's easier in terms of work, etc.

Last year, they had a rule that previous attendees would get priority in terms of ticket sales. I remember this because it was very embittering... Comic Con is so popular that if previous attendees get priority, then that leaves, what, 3 badges for the rest of the population? So that probably contributed to the difficulty of getting them last year. But I can't seem to find the same note about that for this year, which either means it wasn't the case (helping at least T., if not me, get in), or I just can't find the small print on that. Now that we've gotten in, I kind of hope it's still the case, because that means it will help us next year! :P
