If you're lost and alone... or you're sinking like a stone...
I'm here to share some music with you. <3
I've liked lots of K-pop. I've even liked some J-pop. But this is the first time in recent history that I've been into a C-pop artist. Listening to him makes me feel like I did when watching It Started with a Kiss.
Anyway, his name is Anthony Neely. Being that he's a C-pop artist, I'd never heard of him until someone posted to Tumblr this manipulated photo (the Shadowhunter rune on his arm) as someone they thought would make a good Jem (from CC's Infernal Devices series). Now... I'm on Team Will, but if Anthony actually by some miracle got cast as Jem, I might have to switch teams. I mean, he is seriously pretty:

Manip by Martange
AND HE CAN SING.
This particular song is all in English... and it doesn't make me cringe because ANTHONY IS AMERICAN. In fact, he's half Caucasian. Ahhhhhhhhh! This might be terrible of me to say, but I've often thought that Asian singers should be American. >.> Or at least from an English-speaking country. Because they looooooooooooooove to use English lyrics in their songs -- it's a rare song that doesn't have one word of English -- and yet their accents make it so that I wish they wouldn't and would just stick with their native tongue. Probably their target audience doesn't know or care that the English is accented, but as an American fan I want to hear unaccented English! And with Anthony I can. I have no idea if his Mandarin sucks though, lol. Which, being a C-pop star, is probably more important -- to his regular fans, at least.

The next two videos are me indulging my nerdy side. Two parodies that probably only StarCraft fans will really enjoy, but I think they're really well done. Maybe even better than the original songs. >.> OK, not the LMFAO one. Maybe.
"Nerdy and I Know It" - (parody of LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It")
"Banelings" - (parody of Justin Bieber's "Baby")

The more I listen to fun. the more I love them. I read an interview with Nate Ruess and it was SO REFRESHING to hear a non-religious musician talk about how drugs has no role in his life. He was like, the lyric "my friends are getting higher than the Empire State" should probably have been "my friends are out eating fancy steak." My kind of peeps!! Anyway, "We Are Young" is getting pretty played out now, and my current fave song by them is "Carry On." This is an acoustic version (the acoustic version of "We Are Young" is here).

And I still love Train's "Drive By."

B.o.B is one of those rare rap artists who's an exception to the rule... he makes me love his music. The latest is "So Good."
