Watching BSG...
Just gonna keep updating as I watch...
- Okay, I have newfound respect for Tigh for telling Adama the truth, and also staying pretty much who he always was.
- Oh great, Earth is a vast wasteland. How disappointing! Now I have no idea where this series is going. I thought that finding Earth was going to be, like, the pinnacle... and now it's like, there's no hope anywhere. :(
- OMG that Dee kills herself!! I swear, I just thought she had to die in order for Lee and Kara to get together! I didn't WANT her to die, like the others, I swear!
- Okay, if Kara isn't the 5th cylon, what the frack is she?? I mean, they've now found her broken apart ship, a woman with blonde hair wearing her dogtags... Seriously there better be a good explanation for this if she isn't a cylon.
- Yet they said that only 4 cylons were aboard the Galactica, which means ... we haven't seen the 5th yet? Can't work that one out.
- Poor, poor Gaeta and his leg. :( I can't believe Anders didn't get disciplined for it, or that there's never been any confrontation between them about it. O.o
- And seriously, what WAS with the vision Roslin/Athena/Caprica 6 kept sharing about the opera house and Hera? Why has 6 always said that Hera was her and Baltar's daughter? Why was Athena so stupid as to kill that one 6 when she didn't even have the right hair?
- That 6 killing the other 6 who killed that human was pretty intense.
- Everyone's hair is just a tad too long.
- The 13th tribe was cylons? So what does that mean exactly?
- What?? Ellen is the 5th??? Nooooooooooo! I don't want her to be special! I hates her!
- Now I hate Gaeta too (I'm at the part where he's working with Zarek to take over). Up until now I've alternately liked him and felt sorry for him, but now I hate him. I don't want him to die, however, I want him to live and be reviled.
- As for Tom Zarek, it's time for him to go. Even though he keeps talking about other people wanting power, it's HE who actually wants it most.
- They've even changed the opening credits about looking for a home. Earth's no longer mentioned. :/ Frankly the idea that they were looking for us was one of the most compelling plotlines of the series. Now that they have no higher mission other than to survive, I just don't know that I have the same investment.
- Oh god, Anders just got shot. :/ How is he even alive, it was like right in the head.
- OK, Gaeta got me back a little by the end of the ep... he was doing things for the 'right' reasons, even if I disagree w/ them (whereas Zarek just likes to cause trouble). Oh well. Got one wish (Zarek dead) but not the other (Gaeta not).
Crap. I just realized I never saw the Webisodes after episode 12. >< Guess I'll do that now. Better late than never?
Oh man, the Webisodes are about Gaeta! Would I have felt differently if I'd watched these first? Oh wow, he has a love interest. Teehee. OMG, he had a love thing going with an 8 too?! Sheesh! But then why hate cylons so much when he knows they can be different/good, when this 8 helped him track down and save all those people on New Caprica? LOL, wow, um. Never mind. Apparently she was the most evil 8 ever. And I think I would have judged him a bit differently in the episodes I just watched if I'd known about this history. His actions are a lot more understandable now. Damn me for not remembering the webisodes sooner! Though I'm a bit confused about why this 8 killed her own model and the others and spared Gaeta, if in fact she was only pretending to care about him before.
