an update before bed
I'm super excited to have won the Time Turner replica from Toujours Pur's "Turn Back Time" contest! I shall post pictures of it when I can. :D
Reversal of Fortune was my submission, if you'd like to read it and haven't. (Lucius/Narcissa, with mentions of Draco/Pansy and Draco/Ginny)

I've created a syndicated feed for Magical Mayhem, so for those of you who would prefer to keep track of the list that way, you can now add
jade_and_sarea to your friends list (we tried variations of MM but they were all taken), and get all the info there. Or you can simply add the RSS feed to your news aggregator if you prefer that -- it's here: http://www.vanishingscroll.com/okelani/rss.xml
What the LJ syndication does: It enables you to get the same info Jade and I would send to the list, right on your friends page (as opposed to your mailbox). It's an alternative to the YGroup, although there are pluses and minuses for each. With the feed, the interactive element is lost (we won't be able to keep track of any replies to the feeds, unless it's close in timing and we happen to be looking), and any list-only extras will remain solely on the list. However, the feed is far more convenient if you have an LJ, and your inbox won't get cluttered.
It all depends on what kind of experience you're looking for. If you just want our announcements (as opposed to getting mail from list members), the feed is your best option. If you want our announcements + list extras, my suggestion would be to add the feed, either on LJ or to your news aggregator, and keep your membership at MM, but set your mailing options to "no mail." If you're looking for announcements, extras, and an interactive feel, just stick w/ MM.
I hope I haven't thoroughly confused everyone. I wanted to offer another option for people, and RSS is so cool. : ) If you want to learn more, here's LJ's Syndication FAQ.

Jade and I have signed up to write for Lex/Lana at
ship_manifesto. It's practically done already (we have something up on our L/L site that we labeled a manifesto) -- we just need to clean it up a bit and maybe make it sound less militant. :D

I find it v. hard to believe that Jade is a reformed villain. It seems far more likely that she is only lulling us into a false sense of security, only to spring her devious trap when we are at our most complacent. But then maybe I'm wrong. Most everything else looks about right. :))
